We are the only facility dedicated to girls in the State of Oklahoma with Equine Therapy and we pride ourselves in that because teenage girls are the most DIFFICULT population With which to work.

white horse ranch was the best thing that evr happend to me. when i went there i was 12 yrs and i was a manipulative liar i stole i sent nude pictures and i was running away almost very day. i was VERY angry. i went in and i fought the program, but that did not stop anyone from giving up on me! they all believed me and to this day i am still clean and sobber. i am 13yrs now and i spent 7 months there. but it was worth it. everyone there is loving , kind, and they all believe, white horse ranch is my second home they are my family, and there all rooting for me. the horses are amazing. they show us love and campionionship they show us how we act with that being said i totally recomend white horse ranch for your child uits the best! :) i hope this helped. just remember, theres always hope in the willing

As many would say, I am biased to our program, as I am employed here. With that being said parent referrals are always available to speak with reguarding our program. Please email me at [email protected] requesting info and I will get it to you as requested.

This place is full of liars and money hungry evil people! I was there for 5 months and I tried to run away and do everything to get out. Finally when I was on my level 2 trying to level up to 3 they gave me a faulty drug test. I didn't find this out till right before I left. The seal on my drug test was broken and yet administration told staff to use it anyway. It was an insurance scam. All the director wants is your money she has horrible intentions. She will keep your child there for the rest of their life for all she cares. She just wants your money! If it wasn't for some of the great staff I would have kept running. This place does not work and is a complete waste of your time and money! The horses are half dead always sick. They made me go outside in 15 degree weather with wet hair and didn't care. I graduated the program and went home very very sick. Please look into another program for your child!

I want to start off by saying that I am employed by the Ranch and have been for 8 years. We have an amazing program, although we are not a fit for every girl referred to our program. We only accept girls who are ready and willing to work treatment, or at least willing to yield and work the program. When girls come in, our goal is to help her deal with deep root issues. When we start diving into these root deep issues, that's when they usually want to run from their problems. Often, girls come in willing at first, then start disturbing the calm therapeutic milieu. A calm therapeutic setting is very important to the healing process of ALL of our clients. If a girl is not being verbally redirected or otherwise calmed, we will call her a ride and she will not complete our program. Everyone has their own opinions and are definitely entitled to them about our services; however, many of these reviews are from entitled previous clients who did not get their way of exactly what they wanted and how they wanted it. So that in itself is very unfortunate, as it might keep a parent or potential client from wanting to participate/place in our program at White Horse.

This is an amzazing place! I went there in 2011. I didnt graduate but it was still amazing. Yeah you have to work hard. Thats part of the growing experience. This other girl that reveiwed this place obviously doesnt get the point of hard work to succeed! Tammie smith is the director yeah shes a tough woman but look how far she has come and how hard she has worked to help young girls. I think if you have a troubled girl that needs help, taking care of a horse, group, and private counciling from this place is the best.

We are Licensed, Certified, and Accrediated by CARF, DHS, and the ODMHSAS. WHR has a Board Certified Psychiatrist whom the girls see once a week. Our girls also see a Pediatrician that does a physical evaluation once the girl is in our program, to oversee any health concerns throughout her stay at WHR. We have a policy of informed consent in relationship to any medications given.

I was sent here when i was in the 7th grade so i was like 15. I only stayed for 2 weeks and man i wanted to stay but i didnt qualify. My mom practically had to drag me out. I was fixing to get my own horse and everything. I enjoyed my time there and still have great memories. And still have pictures from that time.
